WE ARE OSSEO - Innovative, Courageous, Focused, Reflective & Conscientious!

Returning from break has us looking forward to our scholars returning to our classrooms as well as starting to prepare for the 2025-2026 school year. January is registration month - and it's time to focus on our future academic journey. Scholars will need to complete their digital course cards by January 30th in StudentVue. Scholars should contact their counselor or advisory teacher with any questions regarding this process. You can also find registration information on myosseo.org.

Please join us electronically this Thursday, January 23rd for virtual academic conferences from 3:00-7:00pm. You should have received an invitation to register to meet with teachers of your scholar(s). If you did not receive the invitation, you can send an email to teachers to ask about their availability to connect virtually Thursday or electronically via email.

We look forward to our continues partnership with you as we skate into the second half of the school year! (That's the best winter pun we can come up with.) Please reach out if you have any questions or need assistance in 2025!

School-based health center to be placed at PCSH

After further review, the school-based health center mentioned as part of Crest View’s repurposing is going to be placed at Park Center Senior High School instead. There are a variety of reasons for this change, including easier access for more scholars and their families and a more district-centralized location.

Why it matters: A school-based health center is a great way for our schools to help with day-to-day needs of our scholars so that the focus can be on classroom learning.

Your feedback is needed to ensure that the services offered are the most fitting for our community today and in the years ahead. Please take two minutes to share what you and your family would be most interested in utilizing the clinic for via this anonymous Google Form.

Partnership is making this possible: Our school district was awarded a grant to plan from the Minnesota Department of Health. These dollars will cover start up costs and exploration of the scope of services.

What is expected in the months ahead: The thoughts you share in the Google Form will help our district health team and community partner, Park Nicollet/Health Partners, with next steps. Expect to see the clinic up and running, ready to serve any community member in the Osseo Area Schools attendance area, by fall 2026. Stay tuned to district279.org for the latest on the process.
