Berea Elementary School
Nov. & Dec. 2022
Wow, what a busy and fun couple of months we've had in the school library! We continued our practice of library and information access skills while also learning about different holidays that are celebrated around the world during this time of the year. Meanwhile, we held our fall book fair and received our much anticipated fall book order (image from Canva.com).
Fall Book Fair
Our Scholastic fall book fair was held the week before Thanksgiving, November 14-18. Students visited book fair with their class and had the opportunity to stop by with their family after school on Wed. and before school on Fri. Thank you to all who shopped book fair to help support our school library.
A very special thank you goes out to the following parent and community volunteers and staff members who assisted with our book fair's successful operations:
- Venus Bigham
- Patty Bynum
- Jackie Callis
- Mr. Franks
- Stephanie Franks
- Mrs. Herndon
- Ms. Hyatt
- Lydia Lewis
- Mr. Loaiza
- Eunice Huerta Rojas
- Mrs. Wadsworth

Our school can't thank the following Friends enough for their efforts in promoting literacy and a love of reading among our students:
