No other high school in east county achieved this distinction. The 4 Blue categories we earned were twice as many as any other East County School

  • #2 ELA

  • #3 Math

  • #1 Science

  • #2 English Learner Progress

  • #2 College Career Readiness

  • #1 Graduation Rate

  • #1 Suspension Rate

This is a result of our individual and collective efforts and beliefs that we have the ingredients to achieve our vision. Thank you for all that you do to make Steele Canyon a great place to learn and work

Those who are interested in taking this exam must sign up via our GOOGLE FORM LINK and there are limited seats available. The ASVAB Career Exploration Program (CEP), takes approximately three hours, covers eight subjects and is composed of 200 questions. The ASVAB CEP is electronically administered. Students may only take it at the high school they attend, unless special arrangements are made. In addition, this test can help the Military to identify which Military Occupational Specialties would be best for you if you choose to join the Military in the future. The test will be given on November 18th with a check-in starting @ 7:30 am in the staff lounge.

What an incredible night for the Steele Regiment at the Vista High School Marching Band Competition!

1st Place Band

1st Place Color Guard

1st Place Percussion

Visual Sweepstakes for the entire show beating out 5a 5aa schools. A first in schools history.

Despite performing in an absolute torrential downpour, our students pushed through the elements and delivered an outstanding performance then quickly ran for cover to dry off.

And honestly, when your field show is about exploring the depths of the ocean, what better special effect could you ask for than the skies opening up and bringing the ocean to us? 🌧️🌊 Talk about immersive general effect!

We couldn't be prouder of our students for their resilience, dedication, and incredible performances. Rain or shine, the Steele Regiment continues to make waves!

Into the Depths... literally!

Drive Safe - the Cougar Way

Friendly reminder to please drive cautiously when entering and exiting campus. Our Campus Supervisors are here to help keep traffic moving safely and efficiently, and we appreciate your cooperation in following all directions from security personnel. When approaching the school from east Campo Road, please do not drive on the shoulder and allow vehicles to merge into the right-turn lane just before the school entrance. When waiting in traffic lines, please “close the gap” so we can accommodate as many vehicles as possible entering and exiting campus. Please also note that vehicle access at the back of the school is not available during the school day. Thank you for your patience and partnership in keeping our campus safe.
