March Kid Librarian
Rhys B.
Meet our Kid Librarian for March, Rhys B.! At just 8 years old, Rhys was excited to take on this role because he thought being a "kid librarian" sounded like so much fun. A regular at the library, he loves attending programs like Lego Club and Stories with STEAM.
Rhys' passion for books and reading goes beyond the library—he also volunteers with Misty Eyes Animal Rescue, where he reads to cats in their Kitty City! His favorite book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney, but his all-time favorite book character is Bad Kitty. In addition to books, Rhys enjoys checking out DVDs for a fun movie night.
Recently, Rhys participated in our interactive bulletin board, where the prompt asked, "I love my library because..." His heartfelt response? "Mrs. Frankie is always there."
When he's not reading or visiting the library, you can find Rhys out on the soccer field!
