"Whooah, we're halfway there!"
As Bon Jovi says, "we're halfway there" and many of us are "livin' on a prayer." 😊 While there's still plenty of summer left to enjoy, we want to connect with our MTES families to share some updates and important information about the 2024-2025 school year. Please review the sections below, and as always, don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Feel free to share this newsletter with others!
Important Dates
- July 15-19: Fayette County Fair (come see us at the Mahan Building and Panther Booth!)
- August 13: MT Back to School Bash! - 4:00-5:30 (details coming soon)
- August 13: Open House (grades 1-5) - 6:00-7:30
- August 15: First day for students (grades 1-5)
- August 15-16: Kindergarten Screening (by appointment)
- August 19: Kindergarten Open House - 5:30-7:00
- August 20: Half of KG students attend
- August 21: Half of KG students attend
- August 22: All KG students attend
- August 27: Fall Reading MAP assessment (grades K-5)
- August 28: Fall Math MAP assessment (grades K-5)
Registration/Re-Registration - DUE BY AUGUST 1ST!
The registration window for all new and returning students is now open! It is vitally important that all students are registered, and that all information is updated and accurate. This allows us to complete scheduling, assign transportation routes, update emergency contact information, as well as assign devices, and more.
The link to the registration portal (Final Forms) is below. If you have not completed this process, please do so before August 1st! Please be sure to complete the proper registration for your child. FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions)
