Help Show Love to Our Staff
We’re kicking off the school year with something simple yet powerful: Stock the Lounge!
This is our way of celebrating and supporting our incredible teachers and staff, while giving you an easy way to join in. Whether it’s a single soda, a box of granola bars, or your business stepping in with a few gift cards, every single contribution makes a difference.
Here’s how you can help: Drop off donations to our front office by Tuesday, August 11. Want to shop from a list? Click here to see our staff’s favorites: Favorite Things List. Prefer Amazon? Ship your items directly to: 11711 W Lake Hazel Road Boise Idaho 83709
Let’s come together and make the staff lounge a place where love (and snacks) live all year long. We appreciate every single can of soda and every single act of kindness. Thank you for loving our educators as much as they love your kids!
With gratitude,
Mrs. Ritter

Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures
Safety First at Lake Hazel!
New school construction is planned to begin, following board approval, in September. Temporary measures have been put in place to separate construction from the current school and play areas.
The safety of our students is a top priority at Lake Hazel Elementary, and we appreciate your help in keeping everyone safe during drop-off and pick-up times.
Please use the designated Parent Pick-Up and Drop-Off area located across the street at Lake Hazel Bible Church. We ask that parents avoid Risen Catholic Church parking area, as the construction site road will be on the east side, near Risen Catholic Church.
A friendly reminder: Our neighboring communities ask that you do not use their streets for drop-off or pick-up. Cars blocking driveways and parking near neighborhood entrances create dangerous conditions for vehicles entering or leaving and for students crossing the street.
For everyone’s safety, please do not pull into the school parking lot to drop off or pick up your student before or after school. This includes the lot in front of the kindergarten playground. We want to avoid students or parents walking in front of buses, which can be hazardous.
Due to limited parking space, bus lane configuration, and safety concerns for students, staff, and visitors, we must ask all families to use the Parent Drop-Off and Pick-Up area at Lake Hazel Bible Church.
To help our students cross safely, we have crossing guards stationed at key points:
- At the entrance of the subdivision on S. Lowland View Way (between the church and the corner of Lake Hazel Road)
- At the traffic light on Lake Hazel Road near the start of our parking lot
- A guard who escorts students across the parking lot onto school grounds
Families are welcome to walk with their students from the church parking lot to the school grounds; however, only students may enter the fenced school area.
We sincerely appreciate your cooperation with our parking and safety procedures. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe!
