Parent conferences begin tomorrow, and we look forward to connecting with many of you to talk about your child’s progress and growth this year. Just a reminder, all students dismiss at 12:15 for the remainder of the week. Report cards will be sent home on Friday with students whose families did not conference with their teacher.
Our Scholastic Book Fair kicked off with a bang today, and the excitement from students has been wonderful to see! The Book Fair will be open the rest of the week after school until 2:45 p.m. each day, so feel free to stop by the Multi-Purpose Room to browse and pick out a great book.
Thank you for your continued support of our students and school community!
The Scholastic Book Fair is Here!
Join us March 9-13 to see all of the reading excitement!
Each class will be attending with their teachers once during the school day. Families are welcome to join us on early dismissal days Tuesday-Wednesday 12:15pm-2:45pm or before school (with an adult) 8am-9am
Please visit our Fair website to set up an eWallet and preview this year's book fair: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/deweyfundamentalelemsch and get your reader psyched to pick out their own books. We strongly encourage the use of the E-wallet.

We are so grateful for the generosity of our families and community members who helped make the night possible. Stay tuned for more information about how much was raised and how these funds will support opportunities for our Dewey Tigers.

RaiseRight Update: Halfway Through the Year!
We're halfway through the school year, and it's exciting to see how teachers have been putting their RaiseRight funds to work in the classroom! So far this school year, teachers have used their accounts to purchase:
- Classroom books and library additions
- Essential classroom supplies
- Materials for specific projects and activities
- PE equipment and supplies
- Prize box goodies
- Math learning aides
- Vocabulary learning aides
Best of all, these are resources that didn't have to come out of teachers' personal pockets!
What is RaiseRight?
RaiseRight turns your everyday shopping into earnings for your child's classroom. When you purchase gift cards through RaiseRight, a percentage comes back as earnings—80% goes directly to your child's teacher's classroom account, and 20% goes into your family account to use toward school expenses like field trips. It's never too late to join!
