Every school year, CCSD requires families to update their child's information. These forms must be completed before students can return to CCA in August.

How to Complete Your Forms:

1. Log into your account at my.cherrycreekschools.org.

2. Click on the PowerSchool/Parent Forms tile.

3. Fill out and submit the required forms as soon as possible.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this so we can ensure a smooth start to the school year for all our students!

Part of the Parent Forms process includes selecting your media waiver preferences. To help clarify your options:

• District Media Waiver: Allows both CCA and CCSD to feature your student on our school/district websites and newsletters.

• Outside Media Outlets Waiver: Allows your child to be featured or published on external platforms, such as official CCA social media channels like Facebook and Instagram.

Big things are happening at CCA, and we want to celebrate with you! Mark your calendars for Thursday, August 6, for a special Back-to-School Night and Community Celebration. We are kicking off the afternoon with a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at 2:30 PM. Afterward, the doors are open to the entire community!

Classroom presentations, our construction Open House, and the PTO Used Uniform Sale will be happening concurrently throughout the evening, so you can explore and learn at your own pace. Best of all, you can make a night of it—we’ll have food trucks and tables set up in the front parking lot. Grab some dinner, tour the new spaces, and connect with fellow families!

• When: Thursday, August 6 starting at 2:30 PM

• Who: The entire CCA community!

Kindergarten will have their very own, specialized Back-to-School Night on Monday, August 10 from 5:30 – 6:30 PM. However, please know that all Kindergarten families are warmly invited to join the fun, see the construction, and enjoy the food trucks at our August 6 event, too!

Parent volunteers are a vital part of our community at CCA! As we head into the new school year, we want to celebrate our families and the impact you have every day. Our families logged an astounding 12,922 volunteer hours during the 2025–2026 school year. To put that into perspective, that is the equivalent of adding 9 full-time staff members to our team! We are also thrilled to share that volunteerism jumped by nearly 10% compared to the previous year. Thank you for your time, your passion, and your dedication to making CCA a wonderful place for our students!

At CCA, we love bringing exciting enrichment opportunities to our students. While our official Athletics and staff-run activities lineup will drop in early August, we wanted to share information on two outside vendor programs you can check out right now.

💻 iReady Lessons (Available until July 14th)

Students can continue accessing personalized reading and math lessons from home. We recommend completing a minimum of two lessons per week (one in each subject).

• Using an iPad? Watch this instructional video to learn how to download the Classlink and iReady apps.

• Using a computer? Reference this help document for logging in.

📚 Daily Reading Practice

Consistent reading for just 15–30 minutes a day is the single best way to maintain academic skills. Check out these great resources:

• Arapahoe Libraries Summer Reading Program: Visit to earn prizes and free books!

• SORA Online Library: Digitally check out books right from home.

• 7th & 8th Graders: Don't forget to check out this special middle school reading resource put together by Ms. Bradley!

✏️ Summer Readiness Packets

Summer Readiness packets review the core standards essential for success in your student's upcoming grade level. You can also review the expectations and curriculum maps to see what content lies ahead.

• 🎉 Elementary Perk (Grades 1–4): Students who complete and return their packet during the first week of school will be invited to a special pizza party lunch bunch!

While the deadline to have school supplies shipped directly to CCA has passed, you can still order school supply kits to be delivered to your home over the summer.

While we love seeing our community represent CCA, please keep in mind that items from the Sideline Store are for spirit wear purposes only. These items do not meet the daily school dress code requirements and are not to be worn by students during school hours.

Champions at Cherry Creek Academy is now enrolling for the upcoming school year! Champions provides a space where students can finish homework with help, enjoy snacks, and play with their peers after school.

CCA is continuing our partnership with Cherry Creek School District's Food and Nutrition services to bring a quality and nutritious breakfast and lunch to our CCA students. For more information, attached is a link to the CCSD Food and Nutrition Program Website.
