Transition Council
Armstrong & Indiana Counties 2026-2027
Our Mission Statement
The Armstrong-Indiana Transition Council is committed to supporting the successful transition of individuals with disabilities from school to adult life in the areas of post-secondary education and training, employment, and independent living. Through collaboration and coordinated efforts, the Council provides opportunities for students, families, educators, advocates, agencies, and community professionals to learn, connect, and share resources that promote positive post-school outcomes. Each session will feature a variety of topics presented by guest speakers and trainers, along with dedicated time for members to network, exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and share successful practices and resources with one another. Together, we strive to empower students to become active, productive, and valued members of their communities.
