1st Grade News
August 24th- August 28th
Dear Parents,
We are officially in the groove and full steam ahead! Your first graders are doing an absolute knockout job mastering class routines, building up their reading stamina, and bringing so much bright energy into our classroom every single day. You can keep that fantastic momentum going right at home, too! Cozying up to read together for 15โ20 minutes each night is the ultimate way to nurture a lifelong love for stories. Plus, taking just five quick minutes to cheer them on as they slide their sounds together on this week's blending lines sheet will do absolute wonders for their reading confidence. Thank you for all your wonderful supportโlet's make it another amazing week!
Love,
First Grade Team

Important Information
Attendance/Absences:
There is a change this year for doctorโs notes or other supporting documentation for an absence. They should now be submitted by completing the online Attendance Note Submission form and uploading the documentation within the form. Student's 8-digit ID numbers (900...) are required in order to complete the form, and may be found in Skyward Family Access. This process applies to both full-day and partial-day absences. Please note that a parent notification submitted through Skyward Family Access regarding a doctor's visit does not qualify as a doctor's note. If you have any questions, please reach out to our registrar at windsong-registrar@prosper-isd.net.
