Screen4Success

Brought to you by the “Talk. They Hear You.”® campaign, Screen4Success is a user-friendly screening tool for you and those you care about. Specifically, it provides a better understanding of personal health, wellness, and well-being.

Screen4Success is a quick and easy way to identify areas where someone may benefit from more support. It also provides local and national resources to help address those concerns. You can use the tool for self-screening, or you can send it to someone you are concerned about. You can also help that person fill out the screener—this provides opportunities for discussion in the moment—or they can complete it on their own if that’s not possible.

Tigers Don't Vape!

Quit Kits are resources provided by the SPF team to support anyone who is ready to quit unhealthy habits. Each kit includes helpful tools such as flavored toothpicks, a straw, a chewable breather stick, a stress ball, and a cravings & triggers card deck to manage urges. It also includes helpful resources and a personalized quit plan to guide the process.

Why Quit Kits?

Quitting isn't about willpower. It's about having the right tools.

  • Nicotine affects the brain (cravings, mood, focus)
  • This creates a craving cycle- the more you have, the more you crave
  • Cravings are tied to boredom, stress, social situations, and more
  • It can be challenging to work through a craving alone or with friends
  • There are free tools available to help you stay nicotine-free.

How to get a Quit Kit

  • Visit room 303 at the high school to grab one
  • Talk to your trusted adult, or a staff member and they can point you in the right direction
  • No punishment, no judgement, no pressure
  • Send an email to MHP@bellevue.kyschools.us or Call (859)- 341-2473 ext 660.

Grabbing a quit kit is completely private- no sign-ups, no questions, just take what you need when you're ready.

Little Voices, Big impact!

During Tiger Tracks, the SPF team met with elementary students to have them create prom messages for upperclassmen. Students wrote encouraging notes to those attending prom, sharing reminders to stay safe and make healthy choices. These messages come from younger students who look up to them, helping promote positive decision-making and a sense of responsibility.

Chalk the Walk

During Club Day, S.M.I.L.E. Club members participated in “Chalk the Walk” by heading outside and using sidewalk chalk to write positive, uplifting messages around the school grounds. Students worked together to create colorful designs and encouraging phrases focused on kindness, inclusion, and mental health awareness. This activity allowed members to spread positivity beyond the classroom, brighten others’ days, and reinforce the club’s mission of making everyone feel seen, supported, and valued.

In the midst of academic demands and daily responsibilities, it's crucial for both students and staff to take moments throughout the day to reset and practice mindfulness.

Remember to take some breaks. Step outside, take a few deep breaths, or engage in a quick mindfulness exercise. Your well-being is paramount, and these small breaks can make a significant difference in managing stress. Allow these moments to rejuvenate your mind, so you can have a focused and productive study session.

Remember, your mental health matters, and taking proactive steps to manage stress is a sign of strength. If you or someone you know needs support, Care Solace is available 24/7/365 for confidential mental health care coordination:
