A Message From the Principal
Good afternoon,
The end of Trimester 2 is on Thursday, February 20th and Trimester 3 begins on Friday, February 21st. I ask that all students check their schedule on Teacherease, to ensure they are ready for any updates such as a different Creative Arts class or Health rotation.
With the end of the trimester also comes scheduling for Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, March 6th from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Fremont Middle School utilizes PickAtime for Parent Teacher conferences. Parents/guardians will receive an email through Finalsite with instructions of how to sign up on February 12th. Parents/guardians will be able to sign up for conferences beginning on Wednesday, February 19th at 5:00 pm. Sign up will close on Friday, February 21st and Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled Thursday, March 6th from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. If you had any challenges with signing up for fall conferences and need assistance, please reach out before the sign up opens to lflaherty@fsd79.org.
Just a friendly reminder that school is not in session on Monday, February 17th due to President's Day.

Parent University Review - A Guide for Parents t to Lead with Love & Boundaries
On February 4, we were fortunate to welcome Jennifer McAdams from Simply Bee Counseling for a Parent University presentation at Fremont Middle School. In her presentation, she discussed how to support kids through emotional validation, compassion, and positive boundaries. If you were unable to attend the presentation, or would like to view it again, it will be available through February 19 via the district's YouTube page.

Early Pick-Up Procedures
If your student needs to be picked up early, please notify our main office at 847-566-9384 or send an email to the receptionist, Karolina O'Malley, at komalley@fsd79.org. A parent/guardian or designated person must present identification to pick a student up early. Please note that the latest pickup time is 2:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 1:30 PM on Wednesday. Parents cannot park in handicapped parking spots near the gym as it interferes with bus pick up.
