The Gist with Mr. G
Gateway Families,
It is hard to believe we are already approaching the end of August! We have had a wonderful start to the school year, and it has been exciting to see our Gators settling into routines, building relationships, and working hard each day.
Behind the scenes, our teachers continue to work together in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to study student learning, collaborate around instruction, and plan how we can best support and challenge every student. These conversations reflect our shared commitment to ensuring ALL Gators learn, grow, and achieve at high levels.
The excitement is also building for our first House Celebration on Tuesday, September 1! During lunch, we will announce and celebrate our first House winner of the year. Our students have been working hard to earn House Points through positive choices, participation, effort, and demonstrating our schoolwide expectations. We can't wait to celebrate their accomplishments and see which House takes home our first victory!
Thank you for your continued partnership and for helping us make Gateway a place where every child feels supported, challenged, and celebrated. Together, we are moving mountains for our Gators! β°οΈπ
