We hope everyone enjoyed a beautiful, restful weekend after an incredibly busy and productive week. We are feeling pride following our Clearwater presentation to the PESD School Board on Thursday, January 22nd, regarding the sense of belonging here at Clearwater. The team presented on how our Wellbeing Team, our after school programs, and parent involvement events all support a community of belonging at Clearwater.

A special congratulations goes out to our outstanding 6th-grade SBG Leaders who represented our school with such professionalism and heart. They shared their responsibilities and highlighted how their dedicated work supports our entire school community.

Our community came together for a memorable evening on Thursday, January 22nd, for our Paint with a Loved One event. We were thrilled to host a full house, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the parents who attended and shared their creativity with us. This beautiful evening was expertly planned by our dedicated Paint with a Loved One Committee, and we are incredibly grateful to Ms. Folker, Mrs. Macias, Mrs. McDonald, Mrs. Dobson, and Mrs. Garcia for their hard work in bringing this event to life. A special thank you also goes to Cynthia Soltero for her coordination with our teachers, parent volunteers and our staff for this event. Thank you to our parent volunteers Jennifer Medina, Norma Garcia, Margarita Hernandez, Nemesis Cebreros, Silvia Valdivia, Mr./Mrs. Bryant, and Mr./Mrs. Ho for transform the MPR into an art environment. As always, thank you to our wonderful custodial team Maria, Tony, and Ricardo for their support before and after the event.

It was a wonderful celebration of family time, art, and connection!

To celebrate the many students who do the right thing even when no one is watching, we are launching our Fin-Tastic Office Referrals.

We are proud to announce recipients of a Fin-Tastic referral:

• Xayden Smith 2nd Grade, for working hard on his LETRS assessment and showing great progress.
• Jocelyn Jimenez 5th Grade, for always helping others and being supportive when someone is struggling.
• Amina Valadez 5th Grade , for working hard and never giving up.
