We will begin promptly in the church at 6:00 pm to respect everyone's time.

Sessions: This is important for parents with more than one student!!! If you have middle and elementary school students, please attend the middle school session first, then proceed to the second session for the lower grades.

Principal introduction: In the church from 6:00-6:15 pm

Middle School (5-8th grade) Session: All 4 teachers will present together in the church from 6:15- 6:35

Lower Grades (Tk-4 grade) Session 1: 6:20-6:40 pm in their respective grade level classroom.

Lower Grades (Tk-4 grade) Session 2: 6:40-7:00 pm in their respective grade level classroom.

The informational sessions will consist of the following:

Curriculum, Expectations, Classroom Rules, Consequences, Homework, Weekly Schedule, Regular Day, Grading policies, Communication, Struggling Students, Volunteer Opportunities.

This year's back-to-school night is not just an event, it's a celebration for all our families!

We will have:

• Burgers (Vegetarian option too).
• Churros
• Cotton Candy
• Kona Ice
• Bouncy House

A special thank you to the Knights of Columbus, who will grill the burgers, prepare the churros, and provide cotton candy for all of us to enjoy. We are also grateful that the Alcala family will provide their Bounce House for the students to enjoy.

CYO registration permission slip will go home this week.

Practices will begin in 1st and 2nd week of September.

Practice days will be announced on Friday of this week.

Sports fees must be settled before students are allowed to play in a team.

Coaches must be Virtus certified and have their CYO license.

Clubs will start the second week of September, they all take place from 3:15-4:00 pm!

Students must sign a permission slip in order to join our clubs. Here are the options:

Fundraiser Reminders

• Save your online ordering code and share with your supporters to make sure online purchases count. Reminder — your online ordering code is: 8DVP97E. If you have questions about how the online ordering process works, see the attached PDF. Please note that fundraiser online ordering is only valid through pickup during your fundraiser’s scheduled date, time, and assigned restaurant. Ordering delivery for fundraisers is not permitted at this time.
• Make sure your supporters show the fundraiser flyer (hard copy or on their phone) or tell the cashier at checkout that they are there for a fundraiser before they pay! If they don’t tell our cashier, your organization won’t get credit for the sale.
• A minimum of $150 in total sales is required in order to receive a donation.
• Your organization is NOT permitted to hand out flyers to anyone (including your own supporters) or promote the event inside or outside of the restaurant or in the parking lot at any time — that’s cheating! Violation of this policy will result in your fundraiser being cancelled. All promotion should be done prior to the fundraiser – this is your time to sit back and enjoy a big tasty burrito.
• Gift cards purchased during fundraisers do not count towards total donated sales, but purchases made with an existing gift card will count.

Decathlon parent meeting took place today at 6:00 pm. I apologize for the confusion, I made a mistake on the meeting time in the previous newsletter.

Summary of important dates:

• First decathlon meeting for all students will be on September 11, 2024 in Ms. Campos's classroom from 3:10 to 4:10 pm.
• Subjects will be assigned by the end of September.
• Subject coaching will begin in October.
