Notes from Administration
Homewood Community -
As Quarter 2 gets underway, we want to again lift up the importance of Attendance. Research is clear that showing up for school has a significant impact on a student’s academic and social success, starting from pre-kindergarten and continuing through high school. In the ninth grade, regular and high attendance is a better predictor of graduation rates than eighth grade test scores.
Please help us support a culture of showing up to school every day! If your student is absent or will be absent, please send notes to HWCAbsence@hcpss.org.
Quarter 1 report cards will be available electronically via HCPSS Connect Friday, 11/6 after 4:00 PM. Families may view/download report cards by taking the following steps:
Log in to HCPSS Connect Synergy using parent/guardian credentials
Select More Options from the left panel
Select Report Cards from the middle
Select the report card you wish to access
Keep Rising Phoenix Community! Make it a great one!
Mr. Rattay

We were very proud of the supportive and positive atmosphere created by our students, parents, and community members and want to showcase that. We trust that our community will continue to let the players play; the coaches coach and the officials officiate as we cheer for our teams.
