Contest 2 - ThisSaturdayI can't wait to see other bands and show off our hardwork!

See you all TOMORROW at 9:30am!

Contest #1 went great last Saturday. Our young band held its own against many of the best bands in Mississippi, and we were definitely a crowd favorite! We hit the ground Monday in preparation for tomorrow, where we will compete against some of the best bands in West TN. I can't believe how much progress our band has made given that 2/3rds of them are freshmen and sophomores, with almost half of the band being freshmen. The work being put in this year will be transformational to our program moving forward, and I couldn't be prouder of our upperclassmen for how they've handled the season so far. We only have one month left; let's make the most of it!!

See you all tomorrow! Read carefully. The itinerary's call time has changed due to bad weather this week.

Show up, be loud, and cheer any time you see staff on the track/field clapping!!

I am happy to answer any questions you have. I will be checking my email on and off throughout the evening.

🕺 Homecoming

Some students have shared that they are going to try to attend homecoming after the performance. This is fine, but they need to have a plan, and parents/guardians must submit this form: https://forms.gle/hCPfZYJd1usMhN1p6

🚰 What to do today/tonight/tomorrow morning

🚗 Prompt Dropoff & Pickup

Dropoff: Call time will be at at 1:10, meaning 100% ready to go with instrument at the call location. Do not pull into the school at call time--get here a bit before 1 at the latest.

Pickup: Band staff will leave at 10:45pm. Please plan on being ready for pickup before that. Parents of students not picked up by 10:45pm will be called. If we don't hear back or anticipate it taking longer than 15 additional minutes, we will call nonemergency services and all staff other than Mr. Carpenter will leave after 30 total minutes. Mr. Carpenter will leave after nonemergency arrives. Please be respectful of folks' time with their families and our amazing staff's time to rest after a very hard day. Thank you!
