The Rock Creek Parent Reader
May 2025
From the Principal's Desk đ
Dear Rock Creek Families,
As we approach the final weeks of the school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on all weâve accomplished together and extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your continued support.
This year has been filled with growth, resilience, and celebration. From the first day of school to our spring activities, classroom learning, and family events, our students have shown tremendous progressâacademically, socially, and emotionally. Itâs been a joy to watch them take on challenges, support one another, and grow into confident, curious learners.
Our success this year would not have been possible without the strong partnership between home and school. Whether you helped with homework, attended conferences, volunteered at events, or simply cheered your child on each day, your involvement made a meaningful difference.
To our amazing staffâthank you for your dedication, creativity, and heart. And to our studentsâyouâve worked hard, tried new things, and made us all incredibly proud. We hope you carry that same spirit into summer and beyond.
I want to take a moment to especially thank our incredible PTO Co-Presidents, Rachel Gardner and Mikayla Carhuas, along with the entire PTO Board. Your dedication, leadership, and tireless efforts make a huge difference in the life of our school. From organizing events to supporting staff and students in countless ways, you help create a warm, connected, and thriving school community. We are truly grateful for all you do!
As we look ahead to next year, we are excited to continue building on the momentum weâve created. But first, we hope you enjoy a restful, fun-filled summer with plenty of time for family, play, and reading!
Thank you for being such an important part of our Rock Creek community. We are grateful for each and every one of you.
Wishing you a safe and happy summer!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Gebbie
