Bulldog Fans β Get Ready for Our First Annual Toy Toss! π
This holiday season, our Decatur Bulldogs are teaming up to support Toys for Tots, and we need your help to make our First Annual Toy Toss a huge success!
Join us at the Basketball Game on December 5 and bring a new plush toy to donate. Every CSD Elementary student who brings a toy will receive FREE admission with a paying adult!
Then get ready for the highlight of the night: In between games, fans will toss their donated toys onto the court, where our players and cheerleaders will collect them and prepare them for delivery to Toys for Tots. Itβs a fun, festive way to give back and show what Bulldog spirit is all about!
Letβs pack the stands, support our teams, and spread holiday cheer across our community. Go Bulldogs!

Students Gear Up for Competition at Decatur Robotics FLL Scrimmage
Decatur Robotics FRC Team 4026 was proud to host this yearβs annual FLL Scrimmage at Decatur High School on November 20th, welcoming a record-breaking 14 teams and nearly 200 attendees. Led by Decatur Robotics Team Captain Anika Kailasam and Outreach Lead Lila Becker, students from Talley, FAVE, Beacon Hill, and other local schools gathered to test their robots, practice teamwork, and receive guidance from experienced members of Decatur Robotics.
Twenty-five of our high school robotics students volunteered their time to support the event by refereeing, judging, and emceeing. The scrimmage provided a fun, low-stakes environment for teams to practice and refine their strategies ahead of official competitions. It was inspiring to see the next generation of engineers in action, and weβre grateful for the opportunity to support and grow our local STEM community.

DHS Students Mentor Young Engineers at Glennwood Elementary
On Friday, November 21, students from the Ultimate Problem Club and the Science National Honor Society teamed up to bring hands-on STEM learning to second-graders at Glennwood Elementary School. Together, they guided young learners through the process of designing, building, testing, and refining their own catapults. The activity wrapped up with a friendly competition to see whose catapult could launch the farthest. DHS students were excited to mentor the younger engineers, and the second-graders brought incredible creativity and enthusiasm to the challenge. It was a fantastic day of collaboration, problem-solving, and STEM fun for everyone involved.
βIB and AP Fees Dates Updatedβ
