🚀 Cypress Mission Update: We’re Off and Soaring!

Hello Cypress Cubs! 🐾✨

Our Cubs are already working hard, building routines, and reaching for the stars! Here are this week’s important mission updates:

🌟 Attendance = Ready for Launch!

Being at school every day and on time directly supports student success and helps our Cubs feel prepared for what comes next. Every day counts—show up and shine!

We have some fun attendance challenges underway! 🚀

⭐ 100% Class Attendance: Classes that achieve 100% attendance get to select a special class reward!

🌙 25-Day Challenge: Every 25 school days, students who meet the attendance goal earn extra recess—with a treat!

Miss a day? Saturday School can help you stay on track and qualify for the celebration. If you miss more than one day and cannot attend Saturday School, don't worry—you'll have another opportunity during the next 25-day round!

Remember: To qualify, students must have NO tardies and NO early check-outs. School-approved special events do not count against students.

Families of students with excessive absences will be contacted soon so we can work together to improve attendance and support student success.

🚗 Vrrrrroooomm! SLOW DOWN 🚗 Parking Lot Mission: Safety First!

A BIG THANK YOU to our families for continuing to model safe habits in our parking lot!

Continue to:

Use the drop-off lane or park in a designated space and walk your student up.
NEVER stop in the middle lane to drop off or pick up a student. This is extremely unsafe.
Keep the middle lane OPEN so traffic can continue moving safely.
Display your CAR PLACARD during afternoon pick-up. Need another one? Stop by the office!
DO NOT PARK IN THE BUS ZONE near the marquee. This area must remain clear for our buses.
Use the CROSSWALK!

📸 Picture Day with Studio 1 is right around the corner! We’re excited to capture your student’s photo on 9/23/26

👕 FREE DRESS DAY!
Students may wear their favorite outfit for picture day. Please remember that all clothing must be school-appropriate, comfortable, and appropriate for the school setting.

✨ Come ready to smile and show your Cypress spirit!

We can’t wait to see those beautiful smiles! 📸💙❤️🤍

Parents/Guardians: Please remember to place your picture orders as soon as possible. Orders placed up to 72 hours after Picture Day are still considered pre-orders by Studio 1.

Do you need help accessing your student’s grades, attendance, assignments, school information, and more? We are here to help!

Our TSS (Technology Support Staff) will be on hand to assist parents and tutors with learning how to use the Aeries Parent Portal and the ParentSquare app.

You will learn how to:

📚 Access your student’s grades and assignments
📝 Check attendance and absences
📱 Use the ParentSquare app to receive important school messages
📢 Stay updated on school events, announcements, and information
💻 Navigate your parent accounts and get connected

Drawing Classes for Kids 🎨

We are excited to announce that drawing classes will begin on September 29th!

This program is run by Young Remembrance, giving students a wonderful opportunity to explore their creativity, learn new drawing techniques, and express themselves through art.
