CRES Family Communication

Dear CRES families,

We are so proud of the hard work our third and fourth graders showed these past two weeks on CMAS testing. They displayed so many of our Habits of a Scholar, and really put their executive skills and perseverance to work! While we don't receive scores until the fall, these tests are an important benchmark for how we are doing as a school compared with other elementary schools in our district and across the state.

Fourth grade even managed to put on a concert this week; what well-rounded students we have! Check out the video above from their concert about Colorado history, and many thanks to Ms. Muir and the fourth grade teachers for their time and energy. Second grade will have our final performance of the year, on May 19th!

We’re excited to celebrate our incredible teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week! Be sure to check out the flyer below for a look at the fun, daily activities the PTO has planned to recognize and thank our amazing staff. Families are also invited to join in the celebration by helping their child create a thoughtful card or note for their teacher and sending it on Monday in their child's yellow folder. It’s a simple gesture that means so much.

If you’d like to get involved, we need your help! We need help Sunday afternoon to decorate the school, and with a teacher appetizers potluck for Wednesday's Toast the Teachers event.
