Reminder - GVS is a NO Idling campus.
Reminder - GVS is a NO Idling campus. At GVS your child's safety is one of our top priorities. We know it's cold out there, but please be respectful of the signage regarding NO idling while in the car line for pick-up and drop-off. New Hampshire law (RSA 200:48) requires school districts to implement policies that minimize or eliminate vehicle idling on school grounds to protect air quality. Just as a friendly reminder, the car line begins dismissing at 3:10 p.m.

Speaking of math...
Speaking of math, there is still plenty of math fun to be had in this year's Math Mavericks Challenge, where students have the opportunity to challenge themselves with a variety of grade-level appropriate math problems, and win prizes, such as an ice-cream party!
The program runs through April 24, 2026. Every two weeks, a new set of problems is available. Please find the current math challenge attached, or hardcopies are available by the front office. The current challenge is due by noon on Thursday, February 5, 2026.
For more information and to see a list of last year's winners, check here. For questions, please contact our math interventionist, Ms. Sam Hutchins, at shutchins@gvshawks.org.

Dear GVS Community,
After careful consideration and review of the feedback received, we regret to inform you that the upcoming Unity in Diversity: Olympic Celebration and Multicultural Night has been canceled due to a lack of community interest.
We understand that these events are important for fostering community spirit and celebrating our diverse cultures. However, unfortunately, we did not receive the level of participation we had hoped for.
We appreciate those who expressed their enthusiasm and support for the event. Your involvement is invaluable, and we encourage you to share any ideas or suggestions for future events that can bring our community together in a meaningful way.
Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to collaborating on more initiatives that resonate with our families in the future.
Warm regards,
