School Announcements!
THANK YOU!
Dear Tawanka Families,
A big THANK YOU to all who joined us for our Pasta Dinner last night! We are so grateful for the wonderful turnout and the support of our school community. It was a fantastic evening filled with delicious food, great conversation, and an overwhelming sense of community spirit.
Your participation helped make this event a huge success! All proceeds benefit our Tawanka families in need. We could not do this without your support, and we truly appreciate your involvement.
Special thanks to the PTO, Aramark, staff, and all those who donated their time and resources to make the evening run smoothly.
We hope you had a wonderful time and look forward to seeing you at our ice cream sale this spring! Your support means the world to us as we continue to build a strong and vibrant school community.
Warmly,
Team Tawanka

A Note from the Nurse

- A doctor’s note must accompany all medication including over the counter medication.
- Any prescribed medication must be in the original prescription bottle with the child’s name on it.
- Non-prescription medicine must be in the original container.
- An adult must deliver the medication to school. It cannot be sent in your child’s backpack!
Need a Winter Jacket? Our School Can Help!
As the weather gets colder, it’s important for everyone to stay warm and safe during the winter months. Just a friendly reminder that we will go outside for recess even when it gets cold outside. We are thrilled to share that, thanks to the local Rotary, our school is able to help provide winter jackets for students who need them!
If your child is in need of a new (not used) warm winter jacket, please reach out to our school nurse. We’ll make sure they get the right size and have a cozy jacket ordered just for them.
We want every student to feel comfortable and ready for the season, no one should have to be cold this winter!
To request a jacket, contact the school nurse (Carol Alexis – Calexis@neshaminy.org) directly. We’re always here to help!
