CRMS FUN DAY
FIELD DAY AND PARKING LOT PARTY
Hello Families,
Some Field Day/Parking Lot Party Information for you...
1. Field Day will take place from 8am to 11:15am on Friday, May 26th. Students will be in various places around the outside of the school, including the CRHS stadium. The Parking Lot Party will be from 12:00pm-1:50pm. Students will be playing games, having refreshments, and dancing to music around the front of the building. The gym will also be open for basketball during the Parking Lot Party.
2. We don't know what the weather will do or NOT do, so please have your student dress appropriately and prepare for the weather/season for a day of activity which would include:
•Proper shoes (shower shoes/flip flops are discouraged)
•Sunscreen or Sunblock (that can be reapplied)
•Proper attire (athletic shorts or comfortable shorts, t-shirts, socks to prevent blisters on feet)
•Water Bottle
•Spirit face paint is permitted (entire face cannot be covered)
•Deodorant (for reapplication after field day activities)
•Pre-taken allergy medication/nasal sprays
3. We will have one block of lunch. All students will eat in designated areas. Bag lunches will be available.
Areas: 8th--grade gym, 7th grade cafeteria, 6th grade courtyard. Sixth grade students can bring a picnic blanket to store in their homeroom class to use for the courtyard if they prefer. There are tables and seating areas in the courtyard.
4. Some classes have recently chosen to wear certain colors. These ARE NOT mandatory! Some students and classes thought that it would be fun. But, there is no school-wide mandate or expectation that students wear certain colors for this activity.
5. Students should NOT bring their laptops. Students will be allowed to use their phones during the Parking Lot Party. The school is not responsible for lost or theft of students' personal devices.
Take Care. Be Well.
