Students have continued to learn about the different PAX kernels to support Choosing Kind at Glacier Ridge.

PAX Hands and Feet is a concept that helps students understand and practice expectations for their hands and feet at different locations and situations in school. For example, students discuss what it looks like and sounds like to walk calmly, quietly, and safely in the hallways.

PAX Tootle Notes support a classroom culture of peer recognition and gratitude. Students have learned that tootles are the opposite of tattles. Tootle notes are used to write positive messages that acknowledge kindness, helpfulness, or show appreciation. Staff can write tootles to students and students write tootles to each other.
