Reminders
School Meals: PSD Options students are not eligible for free breakfast or lunch despite the passage of the Colorado Healthy School Meals for All ballot issue. The costs are $2.75 for breakfast and $5.25 for lunch. Payment can be made via SchoolPay.
Student Directory: If you would like to be included in the directory, please complete this form, and any information that you share will be added to the directory. The directory link was sent in an email since this update is posted on a public website.
Curriculum Directory: Complete this form to offer or request curriculum items. The directory link is frequently sent via email since this update is posted on a public website.
Building Map: To help your child know where to go at drop-off, here is a map that shows the main entrance and crosswalk. All students will enter through the main entrance and proceed to the gym for breakfast or to their classrooms.
Pick-up & Drop-off: Review this document before dropping off or picking up your child. Our school day ends at 4:00pm and you should arrive to pick up your student no later than 4:15pm. If an unusual circumstance arises that may delay your pick-up, please call the school at 970.488.4600 to give us notice. Our staff do finish their workday at 4:15pm, so timely pick-up is appreciated.
Please practice safety in the parking lot:
- Use the crosswalk to safely move between the school and parking lot.
- Students should only enter cars in the pickup lane in the portion of that lane that runs parallel to the south side of the school.
- Students should walk calmly in all spaces outside and parents should drive slowly in the parking lot.
Absences: Absences can be submitted in ParentVue, or you may call our attendance line at 970.488.4601 to let us know! Please keep in mind that since Options is an enrichment program, we tend to be more flexible on attendance.
Attendance letters: If you have received a letter or notification about your child’s attendance at PSD Options this year, those messages were sent in error. The district has shifted to an automated process for sending these letters electronically, and with our program only meeting once a week it is easier for students to reach the threshold upon which the letter is sent. We are trying to work with the district to turn this automation off for PSD Options, but if you have already received a letter or if you receive one in the future, please know that it was unintended and sent in error. Thanks for your understanding!
Weekly Updates
✨Halloween Costumes
Your student(s) are allowed to wear Halloween costumes on Friday, October 30th. The costumes must comply with the PSD dress code. Costumes must not include weapons, gore, masks that cover the entire face, and blow-up costumes. They should not mock, disrespect, or misrepresent the culture/identities of others. Please make sure the costumes are easy for students to dress themselves for restroom purposes.
🍂🌻Fall Festival
The PSD Global Academy is hosting the annual fall festival this year on October 29th, 4:00 PM- 5:30 PM. We would like to extend an invitation to all of our PSD Options families to attend this fun event.
Fall Festival is coming up, and we need your help! We’re looking for volunteers to help in activity rooms and donations of candy for the festivities.
Whether you can lend a hand or send in a bag of candy, every contribution helps!

School Forms Reminder
Hi Options Families!
Just a friendly reminder to please take a few minutes to complete the following items needed for school:
Notice of Intent to Homeschool which is required for each school year for each student.
If you have not submitted your updated immunization records or Nonmedical Exemptions, please go to ParentVUE and submit it or email them to rsantiago@psdschools.org. Nonmedical Exemptions must be resubmitted annually for each enrolled student. Exclusion date will be on November 2, 2026.
