Please note: This event is for parents and guardians only, as we will be sharing important information to support your child’s success.
We’re proud to share that the District Safety Team recently conducted their annual site and safety assessment at Abbotts Hill. While official results have not been shared, the feedback we received was absolutely GLOWING! We remain committed to continuously enhancing safety for our students, staff, and families.
Now that the Georgia Milestones results are no longer embargoed, I’m thrilled to share some of our 2024–2025 School Year Highlights! I’m incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication shown by our students, staff, and families. While we’re certainly glowing, we know the work is never done. We’ve used this data to help shape our School Strategic Plan for the 2025–2026 school year—and we’re ready to GROW together!
Finally, starting this week, I’ll be sending out the Hilltop Happening every Tuesday to help you stay informed and connected with the latest school updates.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We look forward to seeing you Thursday evening!
Sincerely,
Jill Osmerg

ACTION ITEM (if purchasing): Device Insurance
During the verification process, families may also choose to enroll in the Optional Student Device Protection Plan. This affordable plan provides coverage for accidental damage, loss, or theft of district-issued devices. Click here for device protection plan information.
Each student in Fulton County Schools (FCS) is issued a school-owned device to support learning in and out of the classroom. This year, we are switching to charging full price for damaged and lost devices, as opposed to the reduced fees that we have previously charged. To help families avoid unexpected repair or replacement costs, we offer an Optional Student Device Protection Plan that provides affordable coverage throughout the school year. Enrolling in the plan gives families peace of mind and helps ensure that students have uninterrupted access to the technology they need.
What the plan covers: accidental damage, loss or theft, device replacement or repair without disruption to your student’s learning.
How to enroll:
To purchase the optional Device Protection Plan that you indicated interest in through Infinite Campus online registration and verification process. If you have more than one student, you must pay a premium for each student to be covered.
How to Purchase the Device Protection Plan:
- Log into Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
- Navigate to the Fees Section:
- Once logged in, go to the "Fees" section located on the main menu.
- Or click the Fees under Quick Info.
- Add Items to Cart:
- In the Fees section, you will find the option to add the Device Protection Premium to your cart.
- Complete Payment:
- Follow the prompts to complete your payment. You can choose from various payment methods available.
- Confirmation:
- Enter the email address for Receipt and click submit payment. Please keep this email for your records.
If you encounter any issues or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Technology Support Center at 470-254-4357. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring the protection of your child's device.

FCS 2027-2028 Instructional Calendar Feedback Opportunity
The FCS calendar steering committee needs your input on the instructional calendar for the 2027-2028 school year to understand what is important to our community. To gather your feedback, we're using a tool called ThoughtExchange. All our voices matter, so your participation is crucial and valued. Your thoughts and ratings are confidential. You can come back as often as you'd like to participate, and we encourage you to return to rate some of the new ideas shared since your first participation. The ratings and feedback will help us as the instructional calendar for the school year 2028-2028 is developed.
Quick Tips:
- You are welcome to share multiple thoughts. Please focus each thought on 1 idea/comment.
- You will see and rate thoughts that others have shared. 5 stars = strongly agree, 1 star = strongly disagree.
- Again, the Exchange is confidential. Your thoughts will be shared with other participants, but not your identity.
Please share your thoughts and then rate at least 20-30 of the thoughts that others have shared. Your participation is confidential, so no one will know who shared or rated which thoughts. Come back often until September 5, 2025, to rate new ideas.
Use the link or QR code below to participate. Please see flyer below for QR code.
