Updates From the Oregon Department of Human Services

The Oregon Department of Human Services is upgrading the ONE eligibility system (take a peak) that Oregonians use to apply for benefits. Once the upgrade of ONE is completed, Oregonians will be able to apply for cash, childcare, food and medical benefits using a single online application. Oregonian Information will be maintained in the System. This will eliminate paper applications.

Starting November 2, Oregonians living in your county can still continue to apply in person for medical, cash, child care and food benefits at either the Aging and People with Disabilities (APD), Area Agency on Aging (AAA) or Self-Sufficiency Programs (SSP) offices. DHS would like to encourage all Oregonians to use ONE eligibility system when applying.

This change will have a positive impact on how Oregonians interact with the state by combining all services into one application and allowing Oregonians to visit one office/any location with internet connection, for all their needs. If you would like more information, please contact us and we would be happy to speak with you and answer any questions you may have.
