Co-op Student Spotlight
Automotive Technology
Our Automotive students are rebuilding the steering linkage on a vintage car. Next, they’ll perform an alignment to check that the steering geometry is correct.
Computer Systems Technology
Computer Systems students completed CPU installations — practicing precision, thermal management, and hardware troubleshooting. These exercises build practical skills students need for roles in IT support and hardware engineering.
Construction Technology
Our construction students are installing roof rafters and calculating ridge board height — measuring carefully, cutting cleanly, and learning that accuracy makes all the difference.
Construction students toured the Muncy Homes plant, getting a firsthand look at how homes come together from start to finish.
Criminal Justice
Students are practicing security tactics, moves for transport and triage for Mass Casualty Incident Response incidents.
Culinary Arts
Our café’s first public opening was a wonderful success! We’re so proud of the students, whose teamwork brought every detail to life—from the spooky menu and festive decorations to the friendly service and delicious food. Servers and cooks worked together beautifully to make the day special.
Diesel Technology
Learning by doing! Students diagnosed and removed air suspension components on the new truck, building practical skills one step at a time.
Early Childhood Education
What a joyful first day at LycoTykes! Our Early Childhood students welcomed the newest preschoolers with open arms — smiles, laughter, and a classroom full of excitement.
The LycoTykes preschoolers toured LycoCTC with our student teachers, exploring classes and discovering new interests
Spooktacular smiles and adorable costumes! 🎃👻 Our LycoTykes visited classrooms to show off their festive looks and were treated to yummy goodies by our awesome students.
Pre-Nursing and Health Science
Level 1 and 2 students learned to provide a complete bed bath and perform a skin assessment. They are now learning how to assist a patient out of bed and safely ambulate them using a gait belt.
Level 3 students are completing the unit on Medication Administration, where they learned to safely administer oral and injectable medications. They learned injection techniques by injecting simulated medication into an orange.
Seniors completed a geriatric simulation where they completed every day tasks with simulated visual and physical impairments. This helped them develop a sense of empathy, compassion, patience, and respect when caring for this population.
Welding Technology
First time in the booths—and the start of something bright! 🔥🧑🏭 Our welding students are getting hands-on and taking their first steps toward a new skill.
