We Are La Vernia Newsletter

🐻💙 January is off to a wonderful start at La Vernia ISD!
This month, we are proud to recognize and celebrate the many people and moments that make our district strong. From honoring our dedicated School Board members, to congratulating our outstanding Cheerleaders on their accomplishments, to celebrating the successful ribbon cutting at La Vernia Intermediate School, January has been filled with milestones worth sharing. We are proud to celebrate these moments and look ahead to even more successes in the months to come. 🐻💙

In Bear Country, 💙🤍 school spirit runs deep — and so does our gratitude. Thank you to the dedicated leaders who help our students and schools thrive every day. 🐻📚

Check out this special tribute — we appreciate you! 🙌

This incredible team has worked hard, cheered harder, and made our Bear family so proud. Next stop… Nationals! 📣🐻

Let’s hear it for these amazing athletes and their dedication, spirit, and heart!

We had an AMAZING time celebrating the brand-new addition at La Vernia Intermediate School on January 8—and it’s officially OPEN!🏫💙

What’s new? Glad you asked! 😀

Here’s a peek at what’s now part of the campus:

👨🏻‍🏫14 shiny new classrooms

🔧4 totally upgraded classrooms

🧪A brand-new science lab (hello, experiments!)

🧩3 awesome special education classrooms

🔨A teacher workroom that teachers LOVE

📁New offices + a conference room

🏀And a gym addition = more space to MOVE!

These upgrades mean more room to learn, grow, and have FUN—and we couldn’t have done it without our amazing community, Board of Trustees, and project partners!

Thank you for supporting our students and helping us build a brighter future—one classroom at a time! 📚🐻
