Graduation 2027
Weddington High School, Class of 2027 Graduation announced!
Graduation will be held Monday, June 7th at 8:00am at Warrior Stadium!
October 29th: Yearbook Make-up Picture Day (9th-11th graders)
Make-up picture day will be held on Thursday, October 29th during 1st block only. Cady will be set up in the Auxiliary gym from 8:00-9:45 for any 9th-11th grader that has not had their yearbook photo taken yet.

Need to Report an Absence?
In the event your child is absent from school due to illness/injury, please upload documentation to the Student Absence Portal. The proper documentation MUST be provided in order to excuse the absence. Remember, parent notes will only be accepted during the current 6-week grading period, of the absent day. Questions or concerns you may contact Mrs. Yost (tammy.yost@ucps.k12.nc.us).
**NEW: Early Dismissal Request Form**
WHS is moving to an online Early Release Request format. We will continue to accept paper notes as well until the start of S2. Beginning semester 2 we will no longer accept email or paper requests. Thank you-

Governor's School Application
Governor's School application is now available. It is open to 10th grade students interested in Dance, Choral Music or Instrumental Music only, and 11th grade students for all disciplines.
