📣 Principal's Welcome Back Letter
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope you and your family are enjoying the final weeks of summer break and finding time to relax, recharge, and make special memories. As we prepare to welcome students back for the 2025-2026 school year, I am thrilled to share some exciting news—Palm Springs Middle School is now a B-rated school! This incredible achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of our students, staff, families, and the entire school community. We are so proud of this accomplishment and energized to keep climbing even higher.
In the brief newsletter below, you’ll find several important updates to help your family prepare for a successful start to the new school year. This includes upcoming events like orientation and schedule pick-ups, our school dress code, and other helpful reminders. Also included is the updated bell schedule—please note that students are expected to be on campus and in class for the full school day. If an early dismissal is absolutely necessary due to a family emergency, students must be picked up by 3:00 p.m. to avoid disruption to the learning environment.
We can’t wait to welcome our new sixth grade Stingrays at Orientation on July 31 and to see our returning Stingrays during Schedule Pick-Up events. If we don’t see you at one of these events, we look forward to seeing everyone on the first day of school, Monday, August 11, 2025. Let's make it the best year yet!
With appreciation,
Dr. Pamela McDonnough, Principal
