7th Grade Weekly News, September 15
From the desk of Chris Howell, Assistant Principal
Dear Parents and Students,
This has been another exciting week at SMS. The big change has been the implementation of our new E-Hallpass system. Overall, it has been working well, but there have been some kinks to the system that we are all trying to figure out, as expected. If there is an emergency, we ask that students relay that to their teacher. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
Finally, I would like to thank our students that volunteered to be Camp Global Leaders. You were an inspiration to our 6th graders that could not attend camp. Mrs. Myers expressed this to these students. "Today you all embodied what it truly means to be GLOBAL through including everyone, embracing others, and showing kindness." I feel lucky to be able to go to work and feel inspired by those I am supposed to help.
If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else.
- Booker T. Washington
Thanks everyone. Have a wonderful week.
