I'm so excited to be back as your Principal for the 2025-2026 school year. It's hard to believe this will be my 7th year here at Reynolds, my 10th year in Prosper ISD, and my 18th year in education – time really does fly when you're doing what you love! Welcome to our weekly newsletter, the TALON TALK! This is your one-stop shop for all the important information you need, happenings around campus, and a glimpse into your students' school life!

Here at Reynolds, we're passionate about making sure every single student succeeds and discovers just how amazing they can be. We love creating those special learning moments that help kids grow both academically and personally. I can't wait to see our hallways filled with students again and to kick off what I know will be a fantastic 2025-2026 school year!

Please take a few minutes to look over the information below, including our updated Campus Improvement Plan and Goals, plus some important dates to mark on your calendars so you can stay in the loop with everything happening in our Reynolds family.

We're looking forward to meeting families on August 7th! Students can attend our always-popular 6th grade Eagle Camp in the Gym while parents are attending the Reynolds 101 Parent Information session to help navigate all things middle school. Following that, will be our Skyward Schedule Walks – more details below.

I'm genuinely excited about all the wonderful things in store for our students this year. Reynolds Middle School is such a special place, and I can't wait to see what our Eagles will accomplish! Go Eagles!

We're so excited to welcome our new 6th grade families to Reynolds Middle School!

6th Grade and New to Reynolds Parents, you're invited to our Reynolds Parent 101 information session in our Cafeteria. During this event, we'll share all the important details you need to know about your child's exciting year ahead. Meanwhile, new 6th grade students are invited to start celebrating and getting pumped up with their very first Middle School Pep Rally in our gym – what a fun way to start the year!

We'll open the doors at 2:30pm, and you can come right in through the Gym/Cafe entrance. Once we wrap up the Pep Rally and Parent Meeting, the real adventure begins! You and your student can explore the halls together during our Schedule Walk and get familiar with your new home, Reynolds Middle School! See you there!

Our Reynolds Schedule Walk is the perfect chance for you and your student to walk through their daily schedule together, meet their teachers, and check out all the exciting renovations around campus! It's a great way to get familiar with your new school home and ease any first-day nerves before the year begins.

We have a lot of new technology information to share with you! From our NEW Device Protection Program to Student Passwords, the button below will help you (and your students) be ready for the first day of school!

Traffic flow is restricted on the east side of the campus between the main building and the MPF from 7:15am-4:15pm. There are many students and staff moving through this area during the school day. Please use Coleman Street, our front drive, and Eagle Drive to navigate around the campus to ensure safety.

We ask that you avoid parking in surrounding areas, such as neighborhoods and businesses, during arrival/dismissal times.

We can't wait to welcome our Eagles back to campus and see their faces light up when they discover all the amazing improvements we've made to our building this summer! From updated learning spaces to fresh new areas designed with our students in mind, Reynolds Middle School is looking better than ever. Although our Reynolds Renovation isn't done quite yet – it's going to be an incredible year!

While we've always had cell phone restrictions here at Reynolds, there's new Texas legislation that now prohibits cell phones on campus. We'll definitely keep you in the loop as we learn more!
