Message from the Unity Office
Don't forget, tomorrow is our last day of school for the 2024-2025 School Year! All students will be dismissed at 1:30pm! Have a wonderful summer Unity Knights, and we will see you on Monday, August 25th!
Dear Parents, TAG, you're it! 😀
Online Verification
Now is the time of year that Parents/Guardians can go to the Sioux City Community School's website, www.siouxcityschools.com, and complete the Online Verification for next year.
Online Verification gives parents/guardians the opportunity to modify and/or confirm contact information and complete appropriate forms for the school year. Within Online Verification, parents/guardians will:
Update or change contact information
Update a student's health history
Apply for bus transportation
It is very important for every family to complete this process so that we have the most updated, accurate information for your student(s).
Last Day of School
Due to the many cancelled school days because of inclement weather this year, the last day of school for students will now be Thursday, June 5th! There will be a 2 hour early-out that day so all students will be dismissed at 1:30 pm. Have a wonderful summer!!
The Unity Knight Award
The Unity Knight Award was started in 2012 by the late, great, Dr. Mike Rogers. It is a tradition that we, here at Unity Elementary, have chosen to continue since his move to East Middle School and then his subsequent passing.
The Knight Award is an honor that is only bestowed upon those who truly exhibit what it is to be a Unity Knight. The previous recipients have all exemplified our Team U traits. They have not only been good students by showing excellence in their academics, but they have also been amazing humans by treating others the way they want to be treated, putting others first, and doing their best to make a difference in our Unity Community!
The 3 Unity Knight Award winners were Knighted by Sir Robert in a special assembly on Tuesday 6/3. This year's winners were Ezra Mendez, Jasmine Ruiz Lemus, and Liam Sturges! Congratulations!!
