THE BEAR ESSENTIALS
Week of April 27, 2026
Hello Bear Families,
We are already at the end of April, with May just days away! There is so much happening in our building, and it is exciting to see our students staying engaged and involved both inside and outside of the classroom.
Our spring athletics season is in full swing, and we are so proud of the energy, teamwork, and dedication our student athletes are showing. We encourage you to come out and support them at their games and events. The athletic calendar is included below so you can plan to cheer on our teams.
Looking ahead, May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This serves as an important reminder of the value of checking in with ourselves and one another, and continuing to promote a positive and supportive school environment.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our school community.
Go Bears!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month
In honor of mental health awareness in May, The Guidance Center is hosting a free event on May 12 for the community featuring a wonderful speaker from the MI Child Protection Registry. The presentation is geared towards parents on how to keep their children safe in today's internet/app-based world and how to have open conversations with youth about the topic. Open up the PDF for more information.
