Happy Sunday Wise Owl Families!
We are 4 days away from Winter Break... Take a moment and think about that. We have made it to the half-way point. I said in the PTO Meeting Thursday evening that I'm so excited for January 4th. I'm already excited about the start of the second semester; however, I know the importance of taking a moment, a break, and enjoying a pause from the hustle and bustle.
Every "holiday season" I am always reminded that for some it's the best time of the year and for others it can be an extremely painful time of the year. I find myself reflective during this time of the year. I'm reflective of the works that I have done, the successes that I've had, and the areas where I have grown or still need to grow.
I was excited when I interviewed for WES. There were SO many aWESome pieces that I knew this could be an extraordinary place. I'm even more excited today! We're not there yet, 4 more days, but thank each and every one of you for welcoming me in my first semester as a principal by sending the most amazing children in the world to OUR school!
If I do not see you, have a safe and wonderful holiday!

Please come check out the lost & found. We know that families have spent a lot of money to ensure their children are comfortable, clean, and fresh đŸ˜„. If your child is missing a sweater, jacket, headphones, a lunch box, it's probably here. Take a moment, and come claim it.
