Dear Bellerive Families,

Thank you to the many families who shared their cultures during Bellerive's annual Culture Night. Your displays, food, and stories made the evening so special. I also want to thank the many families who attended and came out to celebrate our community. It was a wonderful night for all and made me so proud of our strong and diverse Bellerive community.

We were also visited by Parkway’s new Superintendent, Dr. Melissa Schneider, who was so impressed with the event and the welcoming spirit of Bellerive!

Student-Led Conferences & Veterans Day Sign-Ups:

It’s now time to sign up for a conference with your child’s teacher. You’ll find the sign-up link and details below. You’ll also see information about Veterans Day. We are inviting Veterans to attend our assembly and are collecting photos of Veterans for our slideshow presentation.

Spirit Day Challenge: Help Us Earn It!

We’re getting close to the goal for the PTO's Champions for Children Fundraiser! We’ve reached 70% of our $7,000 goal for the PTO fundraiser, but only 20% of families have participated so far. If every family who hasn’t donated yet contributed just $10, we would easily pass our goal before Fall Break (Monday, October 20).

If we meet our goal, that means a Stuffie/Pajamas/Comfy Clothes Day for all students! You can contribute using the Venmo or PayPal codes on the flyer below, or send a check to the school office. Every dollar helps us reach our goal and support Bellerive students!

Don't forget, please consider forwarding this message to grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, and friends. This fundraiser replaces the need to sell items like wrapping paper, candy, or popcorn, please encourage them to give in place of being asked to purchase something!

You can learn more about the PTO at its virtual meeting for all families on Monday at 7:30 pm. I hope you can join us.

Have a great week!

This week wraps up the first quarter of the school year. It’s been incredible to see how our students are growing as leaders and learners. Their confidence, collaboration, and care for one another continue to shine.

We’ll have a half-day on Friday (1:05 p.m. dismissal) for teacher records and grading, followed by a day off on Monday, October 20 for Fall Break. We’ll dive right back in on Tuesday, October 21, ready to launch into the second quarter and continue making waves of growth!

In partnership,

Joey Kneer

We're making great progress toward our goal and want to reach the $7,000 mark by Fall break on Monday, October 20th!

We are so grateful for the many families who have already supported the PTO’s Champions for Children fundraiser! This is one of the PTO’s biggest fundraisers of the year, and it replaces the need to sell items like wrapping paper, candy, or popcorn. Because this takes the place of those sales, we’re asking for your help in spreading the word.

Please consider forwarding this message to grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, and friends. Encourage them to give in place of being asked to purchase something!

November 3 – 7, 2025

It’s almost time for Student-led Conferences at Bellerive! Conferences will take place the week of November 3-7, with our main Conference Night on Thursday, November 6th from 4:15 - 8:00 pm.

Conferences at Bellerive are student-led, giving students the opportunity to share their learning, goals, and progress directly with their families. Since conferences are student-led, please make sure your child can attend as well.

Please use the link below to select a time that works best for your family.

Additional Details:

  • Conferences may be in-person or virtual throughout the week. Conferences on Thursday evening are reserved for in-person only.

  • Specials teachers (Art, Music, PE, Strings, Library), Intervention Teachers, Counselors, and Special Educators are available for individual or drop-in meetings. Please email them directly to schedule an individual time.

  • If no available times fit your schedule, please reach out to your child’s teacher to arrange an alternate time.

Our goal is 100% family participation because strong partnerships between home and school help every Bellerive student thrive.

Did You Know?

A day of missed school is a lost opportunity for social development. By coming to school every day they’re not sick, your child is gaining social skills that will land them their first job as an adult.
