Miller Weekly Update

Dear Parents and Guardians,

This week our band and orchestra students participated in their annual Spring concert. There were many Spring melodies played throughout the evening that not only were entertaining, but also showcased the amazing progress our students have made this year. Miller School will also hold our annual Miller's Got Talent Show on Friday, May 19th at 6:10pm. Our students have worked hard to prepare for this day and we know it's going to be a great show! As always, have a wonderful weekend. We will see everyone back on Monday.

*Please have your ID available when signing your child out of school.

*If you send in treats for holiday celebrations or birthdays, please send in snacks that are approved on our 2022-2023 school year snack list.

*Full Day of School Hours: 8:15am-2:45pm.

*Half Day of School Hours: 8:15am-12:45pm

*May 29th: Memorial Day School Closed

Ms. Ims and Ms. Bower's 4th graders celebrated the end of NJSLA with a popcorn party. They first learned about the history and cool facts about popcorn. Each student was then tasked to create a container that held exactly 75 pieces of popcorn. It could not be too big or too small. The container needed to be created using 1 piece of paper and tape. Fun was had by all!

Congratulations to the 150+ members of the 5th grade band and orchestra at Miller School on a successful Spring Concert!

The audition was filled-to-the max with family, friends, faculty and MUSIC!

Congratulations and thank you also to our Band Director, Mr. Howard Isaacson and our Orchestra Directors, Ms. Kate Wyatt and Ms. Samantha Sara!
