DKHS WEEKLY NEWSLETTER
"Do A Job"
MARCH 20, 2026
Later in the next couple of weeks, we plan to have an “unannounced” Panther Funday with our students and staff. The grind in schools for all of us can bring quite a bit of stress for kids, and it can impact the adults as well. We plan to offer a variety of fun activities for kids. We will pause in the middle of the day to just play for an hour or so. Cornhole, board games, old-school video
games, trivia, karaoke, line dancing, disc golf, pickleball, and many other activities will be available for kids to choose from. In the past, when we had a special assembly or other programming, kids sometimes tried to avoid or even call home, and parents would sign their kids out. I’m asking for your cooperation in NOT doing that so we can come together as a school team and build relationships in some low-stress, fun games. After our Funday time, students will continue their academic day with their last 3 hours of school. Thanks for your cooperation. We are hoping this helps kids just relax and have fun in a new way with their teachers.
CONGRATULATIONS CARTER!
