Bank of America Community Wall

Vardeman Primary students’ artwork is on display at Bank of America in Greenspoint. The Aldine scholars were inspired by the artist, Piet Mondrian. The artist masterpiece “Broadway Boogie-Woogie, 1943” and “Composition with Red, White, Blue and Yellow”. The students’ artwork is an algorithmic translation of music and dance into imagery. It is evident that the Ms. Sonia Inkster, the Art teacher at Vardeman has provided the young artist with a clear understanding of repeated applications and connected it to art. Ms. Kaleigh Newman, Director of Visual Arts agreed, “These Masterpieces from our PK scholars are amazing.”

WE NEED YOU WE NEED YOU

The Power of One-To-One Mentoring

Mentoring is important, not only because of the knowledge and skills students can learn from mentors but also because you will act as a positive role model and advocate for those who need guidance and coaching. Mentorship has the power to influence the trajectory of a child’s future, which increases his chance of success. The mission of our mentor program is to empower students to make positive life changes that can enable them to maximize their personal and academic potential.

Student Assistance Form

If your children need support or resources, you can submit a Student Assistance Form (SAF) to inform school counselors about a non-instructional need your child has. The following videos provide instructions on how to fill out a Student Assistance Form.
