Celebrating 70 Years of Regal/Duval!
Week of December 15th
Dear Duval Families-
Last Week of December and another busy one!
We had a busy week last week, with lots of learning and excitement.
This week is a Theme Week. Each day has a "Dress Up" event as follows: Monday: Fuzzy/Cozy Day. Tuesday: Holiday Gear Day. Wednesday: Candy Cane Day. Thursday: 70s or "Holly Jolly" or "Dot Day" Gear. Friday: PAJAMA DAY!!
Author Peter Reynolds will be coming on Thursday. 70s Day is also on Thursday, so put on your disco gear to join in the fun!
Please note the time of the 1st/3rd Grade Concert on Tuesday being 2:15pm. We have backed it up by 15 minutes to increase dismissal safety. The afternoon concert is for 1st and 3rd grade families only.
Also, please note that Friday is an Early Release Day for Professional Development.
With Sunday's snow, kids will need boots and gloves for recess.
Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, and Happy Kwanzaa to all who celebrate!

Last Weeks at Duval
PTO NEWS!
Hi Duval Families!
What a busy week! Our students were able to do lots of holiday shopping for their family and friends and can’t wait to share their gifts with their loved ones. Thank you to everyone who spent some time at the shop- everyone who helped set up, clean up and assisted with all the shopping in between. This event would not be possible without the many helpers and hands so we appreciate you!
Our final Raise Right order was placed and cards will be arriving by the end of the next week. If you placed an order you will be contacted once they arrive. This year our Raise Right program brought over $300 back to Duval. Thank you!
We also had our Brain Show family event Friday night. Lots of fun, dancing and laughing at this one- thank you to the families who attended and thank you to the Whitman Cultural Council for the grant that made this event possible!
Our Food Drive is wrapping up and the Whitman Food Pantry will be at Duval on Tuesday to receive the donations families have sent. If you have any remaining donations to send please be sure to send them tomorrow or Tuesday morning.
