This message serves to communicate that BMS students will participate in a shelter-in-place drill next week. We practice these drills to be prepared in the event of a true emergency. Teachers will be conscientious of student needs to ensure they feel safe, prepared, and as comfortable as possible during the process. We will communicate with you after the completion of the drill.
The PCHD will once again be coming to our schools to offer the annual influenza vaccine for students in grades K-12 and school staff. The PCHD will be at BMS on Thursday, November 14, 2024. This is an opportunity for your child to receive the flu shot at school as a convenience, if you choose. See attached for the schedule. Consent forms are due by Oct 18.
This year you have the option of completing a paper consent form, or an online digital consent form. If you wish to complete a paper consent form, please ask your school for a copy to be sent home. No one will receive a vaccine without a completed consent form. See link below for the digital consent forms and the vaccine information sheets.
