The Lakeshore Road Renovation Team-made up of directors, staff, and parents- met on March 25, 2025. It was confirmed that the renovation of Lakeshore Road Elementary is now expected to be complete in early 2026 due to delays in the State Education Department approvals and construction bid challenges.

During the meeting, the committee discussed the feasibility of a mid-year move and unanimously agreed that maintaining consistency for staff and students throughout the 2025-26 school year is in everyone’s best interest.

As a result for the entire 2025-2026 school year:

• Kindergarten will attend Cicero Elementary

• Grades 1-3 will attend St. Margaret’s School

• Grade 4 will continue to relocate to Gillette Road Middle School

Principals from Cicero Elementary, Lakeshore Road Elementary, and Gillette Road Middle School are coordinating visits and events to help students and families transition smoothly. Please visit our LRE Renovation Website for the latest updates and event timelines..
