A Message from the Principal
We have two full weeks completed for the semester which means grades are being pulled, we have been pulling grades already and talking with students to help them create a plan for bringing their grades up. Below is a reminder of the eligibility policy
An ineligible student means a student may not attend school events, participate in school-sponsored clubs, activities (including graduation), sports competitions, plays, dances, field trips, etc. Ineligibility status will be determined weekly. Starting on the 3rd week of the semester. A student will become ineligible on Monday if they have 2 or more F’s when the grades are pulled on the previous Thursday. They will remain ineligible for the entire week Monday through Sunday.
Protocols:
1st time per semester on the ineligible list will result in a week-long Probationary Period (Still eligible for activities)
2nd time per semester will result in 1 week on the Ineligible List (Not eligible for activities)
Ineligible students are NOT able to attend events as a fan or an athlete.
Reminder we have ASAP available Monday-Thursday that school is in session from 3:30-4:30 pm. This is a good opportunity to work on any school work and be able to ask for help.
Please let the office know if you would like your child to attend, they must be willing to work and not goof off or distract others from their work. They must be picked up on time as well.
Football-
All home MSFB games and some away games (not sure who all has a Hudl camera mounted on their press box yet) will be broadcast live on this website. https://fan.hudl.com/ You can also download the HUDL Fan app on your smart TV.
Football game AT Holton on 9/4, this will be 1 full game with a 5th quarter. The game will start at 5:30 pm.
Cross Country-
1st meet is 9/4, which is our home meet at Shawnee North Community Center. It will begin at 4 pm
Volleyball-
1st game is 9/2 at Santa Fe Trail- the games will start at 4 pm
Volleyball at Holton on 9/4 games start at 4:30 pm. Order of play will be 7th and 8th A teams first, followed by B teams. This will be the order of play for ALL league games.
