News from Mr. Duncan
We are kicking off the second quarter with many exciting things. Yesterday we had a local group visit Willowdale to teach students about building healthy relationships using theater. The performances were engaging and impactful- our Wildcats had a blast!
Today we kicked off Red Ribbon Week which runs through next week. We also have Halloween parties to look forward to! See below for times, the route the parade will take, and information on appropriate costumes for school.
Have a great weekend!

Costume Guidelines
- Students may not wear their costumes to school during the school day. They need to bring their costumes in a bag labeled with their name; if it fits in their backpack - great!
- All students must practice putting on their own costume independently. This is incredibly important!
- Please remember that the audience for these costumes are children. Costumes must be age appropriate.
- No weapons or weapon-look alikes will be permitted, even if they are "a part of the costume". This will be strictly enforced.
- We do not have extra staff to help assemble student costumes. Any makeup, hair accessories, etc. need to be done at home prior to the school day.
- Students MAY wear inflatables for the parade. Due to the size of these, it is sometimes difficult for students or their peers to participate in the classroom activities. Students may be asked to deflate during this time.
- Students ARE NOT required to wear costumes - they can still participate in the parade and classroom parties :-)
- Students may be excused from the celebration and parents may check out the student from the office at 1:30 p.m. should you choose for them not to participate.
