Mustang News

What an incredible night at our Fall Festival! It was wonderful to see so many of our Mustang families come together for an evening filled with fun, laughter, and community. A HUGE thank you to our amazing PTA, dedicated staff, and wonderful volunteers who worked so hard to make this event such a success! From the games and activities to the Trunk-or-Treat, it was truly a special evening.

We have another exciting and busy week ahead!

Red Ribbon Week: This week, we will focus on making healthy choices, celebrating what makes us unique, and showing our Mustang spirit! Be sure to check out the daily dress-up themes below so your Mustang can join in the fun.

Día de los Muertos: We are excited to celebrate this beautiful tradition by creating a schoolwide ofrenda (remembrance altar) to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away. We invite all families to participate in this meaningful celebration! Please see the flyer below for details on how your family can contribute.

Thank you for your continued partnership and for all you do to make Mission Meadows a place where students and families feel connected and valued. I'm looking forward to another wonderful week with our Mustangs!

Mission Meadows is excited to honor the beautiful tradition of Día de los Muertos by creating a schoolwide ofrenda (remembrance altar). We invite families to participate by sending in a framed photo of a loved one or beloved pet who has passed away. Photos can be sent to school October 26–28, and our ofrenda will be on display October 29–November 6. We also welcome donations of flowers and colorful decorations!

This year's elementary parent conferences are scheduled Monday, November 16th to Friday, November 20th. This opportunity allows you to engage in discussions about your child's progress and gain insights into their strengths and areas for growth. On these days, Mission Meadows will operate on a minimum day schedule to accommodate these important sessions. Further details and specific scheduling information will be provided by your child's teacher in the coming weeks.
