Reminder: Construction Forum

Dear Parents and Community Members,

I am excited to host our second Glenbard West Facilities Community Forum of the school year on Wednesday, February 26 at 7:00 PM in the Elliott Library. Since our last forum in October, I have shared two video updates in my Principal’s Newsletters. You can find both on our website. The projects slated for Glenbard West represent significant additions and renovations, and we want to ensure that we are providing regular updates and opportunities for feedback. On February 26th we will provide updates on the following:

• The overall design, including renderings of the new additions

• The location of the new and renovated classrooms and labs

• Our general two-year campus staging, traffic flow, and safety plan

• Our tree preservation and replacement approach

• The overall D87 four-year construction project schedule

• The referendum funding and bond issuance plan

As always, we appreciate the relationship that we have with West families and neighbors and want to be proactive in our communication when it comes to these construction projects. I hope you’ll be able to join us on the 26th.
