Message from the Principal
Dear Oak Lane Families,
ππΎ A new quarter, more opportunities to grow at Oak Lane!
π¬ Report cards come home this Friday! Please reach out to your childβs teacher with questions about grades, behavior, attendance, or ways to support learning at home.
π Thank you to everyone who made our Fall Festival special by planning, decorating, donating treats, volunteering, or bringing your family to enjoy the fun!
β Weβre proud of our students who earned 85% or higher positive Dojo points in Quarter 1! They celebrated with Fall Fun Activities last week. Thank you to the parents who helped supervise the rotations!
π This weekβs morning meetings focus on EMOTIONS! All feelings are okay. Encourage your child to be an Emotion Detective by noticing their feelings and kindly asking others how they feel.
Thank you for helping our Cougar Cubs grow! π³

On November 3, 2026, Person County voters will decide on a $107 million school bond referendum for proposed school construction and renovation projects.
The proposal includes building a new middle school to serve students in grades 6β8 and adapting the existing middle school facilities for elementary school use.
We encourage our families and community members to review the attached fact sheet to learn more about the proposed projects, the planning process, potential tax implications, and what the referendum would mean for Person County Schools.
