It's that long awaited day-summer is finally here! I just wanted to say thank you to students and families for such a wonderful first year at Schweitzer. I appreciate everyone who welcomed me and made me feel a part of the family at Schweitzer. It has been a busy and productive year. Watching our end-of-year slideshow today was a reminder of just how much we've accomplished as a school and also how much we've grown!

Thank you to our amazing Schweitzer staff for their effortless time they put into instruction and working with children every day. I've enjoyed getting to know each staff member and look forward to personalizing your learning moving forward. You are simply the best!

Our Annual PTO sponsored Tech Trot was another huge hit this year. Perfect weather and fun for all. We raised almost $2,450 which will be spent directly on new technology for the Schweitzer building.

Beginning Monday, June 18, the Bensalem and Levittown branches of the Bucks County Free Library will offer free lunches to children 18 years and younger.

The branches will serve lunch three times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 12 to 1 p.m. The program ends on August 1.

Children can visit the library and enjoy a delicious and nutritious meal as part of the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), a federally funded program run by the USDA. SFSP ensures that children from low-income areas continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. Children do not have to apply or register for meals.

BCFL is partnering with the Bensalem Township School District, a sponsor of the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), to provide the meals.

New Kindergarten students and all new incoming students to our Schweitzer family along with their families are invited for a day of introduction, touring and information.
